Spiny Oyster is widely used by Native Americans in their jewellery designs, and being from the Cherokee Tribe I had to add these to our Collection!

The Spiny Oyster originates off the Pacific Coast and belongs to the family of large mollusks. Sometimes called thorny oyster.

They are collected and harvested for their shells which are used in jewellery designs. Their beautiful shells contain the fiery orange and red coral colouring that combines beautifully with the vibrant turquoise
