In Native American culture, turquoise is revered as a sacred stone, representing the sky, water, and good fortune, it’s widely used in ceremonies and used as a talisman for protection and holistic balance. Turquoise in all her varied colour hues is a crystal treasure, calming minds, bringing luck, and connecting us to the spirit world. Wear it like a badge of honour!
Metaphysically healing for wellbeing, mental clarity, peace, blessings and Turquoise is considered a master healer (like Clear Quartz which indigenous also love).
Copper attracts abundance and good luck to both your spirit and physical body. It also looks amazingly gorgeous!
It’s both energising and healing when worn as jewellery. Copper opens our energy meridian pathways, proving it’s an ancient healer for good reasons!
Metaphysically it’s healing for easing pain from arthritis and muscle strains. It may give you a shot of vitality too.
Copper may give your skin a lovely greenish hue - totally normal, totally harmless, and totally washable with warm soapy water, trust me, it's happened to me plenty of times!
Copper naturally goes a bit oxidised due to climate and skin acids, but don't worry, it's not a flaw, just metal being its fabulous self. A squeeze of lemon juice can sort it out, just wipe for a few minutes with a soaked paper towel of zesty juice, rinse, and voila it’s back to its original lustre. But, whatever you do, don't dunk your silver hooks or crystals in that lemony goodness!
The copper jewellery rule is simple, last on, first off, and avoid all the nasty stuff like lotions, oils, harsh detergents, and salt water, or you'll be saying goodbye to your favourite copper piece, and hello to a world of regret!
By following our simple care tips you'll be rocking that copper jewellery for years to come, with all its healing goodness intact.
Enjoy and express yourself!
Please be aware these will bend and go wonky by adjusting them to your size! It’s a characteristic of brass and it’s used in jewellery for this very reason, it’s very pliable. Cuffs may have a little discolouration in areas which is from humidity and natural oxidisation during transit. This is easily removed by washing in warm soapy water. You may also use lemon juice, simply soak the cuff for up to 10 minutes and then wash with a toothbrush in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Do not soak crystals ever!!
Disclaimer: If you are over zealous and break yours with multiple adjusting, sorry we aren’t responsible to replace nor refund. I’ve owned my brass cuffs for 6 years and whilst they are “bent out of shape” to mould my wrist they haven’t tarnished, snapped or had any faults! Care is essential for all jewellery and it will last many years to come.
