Athames are like the Swiss Army tools of witchcraft, Wicca, and other neopagan religions, symbolically cutting ties and absorbing and directing spiritual energy, all while looking super cool.
To use an Athame for clearing and cleansing your energetic bodies of stagnant blocked energy:
1. Use yours in sweeping/slicing patterns across your body to remove negative cords and ties that are holding you back.
2. This is especially important around your solar plexus chakra area, as we hold a lot of emotions there!
3. You may also use a selenite rod or clear quartz point afterwards to encircle positive energy and abundance around your entire body using clockwise motions.
4. Always ensure you cleanse your athame after use, a quick rinse under cold water is ideal (crystal dependant) or smudge with smoke.
